The Château de Bachen stands on a promontory looking out over the Adour valley and has been the Guérard family home since 1983.
After being planted in 1984, the vineyard’s first grapes were harvested and Christine and Michel Guérard’s first wine was produced in 1987.
The estate has grown since then, and now covers 25 hectares.
We grow a number of native grape varieties – Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, Baroque and Tannat- as well as the two grape varieties which reign supreme in the Bordeaux region, Merlot and Cabernet.
The Château de Bachen makes:
Two white wines:
- Baron de Bachen
- Château de Bachen
Two red wines:
- Rouge de Bachen
- Rosa la Rose
